Hau'oli makahiki hou!
Its been one wacky year full of distractions that kept us from thinking about our upcoming reunion. The economy didn't help much, nor did the many layoffs, foreclosures and insecurity of the nation as a whole. But we all somehow made it through 2009, and the first decade of this new millennium. We deserve some honi!
2011 will be our 25th year out of high school - and the reunion buzz is starting up once again. Many of us are on Facebook.com and are in various alum groups - I invite everyone who reads this to join in ONE group. Organized by our classmate Wallyn K Christian, we can all post there and communicate what we want.
Of note, the general consesus is for a Vegas reunion. Shoots! But when, how much, and where? That is what we need to discuss and get rolling! Mainland & Hawaii classmates spread the word!

Leslie...we need to start planning our reunion. Is there anyone in HI that started anything? Please let me know.
I just started a Leilehua Eighty-Six fb page. I will steer our classmates towards that, and I also mentiones this blog spot page.

Food, location etc. Please contact Barbara Bonifacio for advice & info - 85 coordinator.Lets make it happen. How do you do a fun raiser when everyone lives all over the place? The wheels need to be put in motion now. Sorry i cant be of much help from Maui. use fb to reach out to classmates one by one if have to. I voted for september for cooler weather as a change from warm sunny HI. Summer is too hot in the desert. Is there an official commitee on Oahu and contacts in Vegas?
